  1. In a small bowl, stir together 1T liquid coconut oil and 1/2 cup of water and stir. Let soak about 30 minutes until Salba is softened. Stir in another 1/4 cup of water and transfer to food processor. Process until smooth. Add additional water in 1/2T increments until desired consistency is reached. Salba butter will be slightly sticky and has very little flavor. For a sweet butter, add honey, agave, stevia or sugar. For a more savory butter, add some salt, garlic, or other spices to taste. Fresh fruit can be added in place of some of the water in processing step.
